Executive Functioning, IEP Support & Specialized Instruction
Individualized support for students with diverse learning needs, grades K through 12
I am a multi-certified NJ teacher currently pursuing my Ed.M. in Special Education at Rutgers University with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) Certification, deepening my expertise in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Building Independence, One Step at a Time
Every student learns differently. I work with students with autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, and other learning differences to build the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
Executive functioning support focuses on helping students manage and organize their time and materials, strengthen task initiation, and build sustained focus. I use strategies like breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps, creating organized and distraction-free workspaces, and establishing consistent daily routines that students can carry into their independent work.
For students with IEPs, I help families understand and navigate their child's IEP documents and use those plans to individualize my own lessons. I also support parents in advocating for their child to ensure they receive the services and accommodations they are entitled to.
Core areas of focus include:
-
Time management, organization, and task initiation
-
Focus and attention strategies
-
Literacy fundamentals for students with learning differences
-
Fine motor skills development
-
Basic self-care and life skills
-
IEP navigation and parent advocacy support
